SCORE SHEETS FOR WEEK 7 OF THE SUMMER 2016 SEASON

Break Time Bunch at Carp & Linden Pub 2
BREAK TIME BUNCH WINS 9 - 6
The Bunch fell behind early against host Carp 2 but behind cap'n Kez's three wins they were able to remain undefeated and atop the 'A' Division standings.   Peter Garcia led Carp 2 (2-5) with three wins.
Don Q's 1 at Uptown Lounge 1
DON Q'S 1 WINS 10 - 5
Don Q's won their fifth straight match, this time doubling up on Uptown Lounge.   Sean O'Brien led Don Q's with three wins and a table run.   Teammate Ed Drayton also had three wins.   6th place Uptown Lounge (3-4) was led by two-game winners Pete Conover and Don Perkins.
Don Q's 2 at Break Time Underdogs
BREAK TIME UNDERDOGS WINS 8 - 7
The 11th place Underdogs (1-6) won their first match of the season, defeating 8th place Don Q's 2 (2-5) by an 8-7 score.   Break Time needed all three of Chuy Velez's wins to post the victory.   Down 4-0, Don Q's made a valiant effort to come from behindbut fell one game short.
Mel's Lounge 1 at Monty's Misfits
MONTY'S MISFITS WINS 11 - 4
With a big 11-4 home win over 9th place Mel's Lounge 1 (2-5), the Misfits (5-2) were able to slide on up to 3rd place.   John Bushnell and Ernesto Sanchez were both 3-for-3 for Monty's.   Rick Coe had two of the four Mel's game wins.
Moose Lodge 2 at Break Time Slash n Burn
MOOSE LODGE 2 WINS 12 - 3
The 2nd place Moose (6-1) got Slashed and Burned early in this match but recovered nicely to take the last nine games and go home 12-3 winners.   Jon Hernandez won his first two games and helped 10th place Slash-n-Burn (1-6) keep the score even thru six.   Ed Guzman, Ismael Huerta, and Andres Cortez were all three-game winners, and with the score tied 3-3 they helped start a nine-game win streak that ended the match.   Guzman added a table run, and those five extra points put him in 4th place just ahead of #5 Cortez.   Huerta leads the division.
Break Time Ball Busters at Moose Lodge 3
BREAK TIME BALL BUSTERS WINS 8 - 7
Fresh off their adventure in Las Vegas, the Break Time Ball Busters rolled into the Moose Lodge and rolled out 8-7 winners.   Break Time was led by Ashley Robinson, who had her first career three-win night.   Moose captain Juan Manzo won all three of his games butit wasn't enough.   With the win, the Ball Busters (2-5) move up to 9th place.   11th place Moose Lodge 3 (0-7) is now the league's only winless team.
Break Time Travelers at Sportsman Trojans
SPORTSMAN TROJANS WINS 9 - 6
The tenacious Travelers took the first two games from the Trojans and were able to keep the score even thru 12, butsix combined win from Leana Finley and Chris Ackler proved too much for the Break Time boys.   This was the fifth straight victory for Sportsman (5-2), moving the Trojans up two spots and into 3rd place.   Jason Garwood and Albert Covarrubias had two wins each for the 6th place Travelers (4-3).
Carpinteria Knights at Break Time Otters
BREAK TIME OTTERS WINS 9 - 6
The Knights were fresh off their Vegas trip and full of confidence, but the Break Time Otters were ready and waiting.   Hellcat leader Laura Craig led a quartet of two-game winners for the Otters as they beat the visiting Knights by a 9-6 score.   Jeff Azevedo, Salvador Ibarra, and Billy Beebe joined Laura in the two-win circle.   James Maertens was the lone Knight with two wins.   To put the icing on this victory, Beebe ended the match with his first career break and run.
Monty's 2 at Mel's Cartel
MEL'S CARTEL WINS 9 - 6
Sergio Garcia had three wins and powered the Cartel to a 9-6 victory at home against Monty's 2.   Monty's held the early 3-1 lead but Mel's won 6 of the next 7 games to put a stranglehold on the match.   Justin Drewisch and Brian Hoppers had four of the six Monty's game wins.   This is the third straight week that the 7th place Cartel (3-4) has been tied with the Break Time Otters
Sportsman Nuggets at Don Q's Sharks
DON Q'S SHARKS WINS 11 - 4
The undefeated Sharks (7-0) had little trouble brushing aside the Nuggets in an 11-4 victory.   Captain Matt Carr led his squad with three wins, and everyone else on his team had two wins.   Adriana Balanda had two of her team's four game wins.   This was the third loss in a row for Sportsman (4-3), who have plummeted to 5th place.
Moose Lodge 1 at Don Q's Badgers
DON Q'S BADGERS WINS 8 - 7
The 2nd place Moose (5-2) held a big lead early in their inter-divisional match at Don Q's, but thanks to three wins by sub Nick Testa, the 5th place Badgers (5-2) were able to recover and pull out an 8-7 victory.   Down 4-2, the Badgers went on a five-game spree that put them on the hill at 7-4.   The Moose did everything they could to sweep the remaining games, but Testa beat Antonio Martinez in game 13 to secure the Don Q's victory.   Moose Lodge's Jimmy White had three more wins to move him back into 2nd place in 'B' Division.
