CARP & LINDEN PUB 2 WINS 12 - 3

Three wins each by Chris Atkins and Peter Garcia powered Carp to their first match win of the season. Garcia is now 6-0; the only remaining undefeated player in 'A' Division. Harvey Miller had 2 of the 3 Underdog game wins.

Don Q's Badgers at Break Time Bunch

BREAK TIME BUNCH WINS 8 - 7

Two teams vying for the 'A' Division lead met at Break Time as the Bunch hosted the Badgers. Despite break-and-runs by Tanya Topinko and George Guerrero and a table run by Kez Gillatt, Break Time found themselves behind 6-5 after 11 games. The Bunch was able to regain the lead after Kez got his third win, and Tanya scored a hill-hill win over Reno King. Break Time moves to 2-0 while Don Q's falls to 1-1.

Mel's Lounge 1 at Don Q's 2

DON Q'S 2 WINS 9 - 6

Don Q's 2 overcame a 3-1 deficit to post a 9-6 home victory against Mel's Lounge 1. Vic Condra and Keith Baugher powered the Don Q's attack with their combined six wins. Brian Crancer and William Rodriguez paced Mel's Lounge with two wins each. After the match was over, both teams found themselves tied at 1-1 with Mel's Lounge one game win ahead of Don Q's 2.

Monty's Misfits at Uptown Lounge 1

MONTY'S MISFITS WINS 11 - 4

The Monty's Misfits went wild at Uptown Lounge, winning 11-4. Jorge Salcedo and Mark Campos had three wins each to put the sting in the Monty's attack. Captain Eric Kaiser had 2 of the 4 Uptown game wins. The 2-0 Misfits are a game win out of 1st place in 'A' Division. Uptown Lounge is now 0-2.

Moose Lodge 2 at Don Q's 1

MOOSE LODGE 2 WINS 11 - 4

'A' Division leaders Moose Lodge 2 moved to 2-0 with a big 11-4 win at Don Q's 1. Don Q's got a break-n-run from Sean O'Brien and a win from Jim Holloway to open the match with a 2-0 lead but the rest of the night went the Moose's way. Andres Cortez and Ed Guzman led the Moose with three wins each. Don Q's 1 fell to 0-2.

Break Time Ball Busters at Carpinteria Knights

CARPINTERIA KNIGHTS WINS 13 - 2

The Ball Busters couldn't get past the Knights' armor as Carpinteria won 13-2. Knights Dave Deanda, Paul Nelson, and James Maertens combined for nine game wins. Ball Busters Meagan Soloff and Ashley Robinson had one win each. At 2-0 with 25 game wins, the Carp Knights find themselves at the top of 'B' Division. The 0-2 Ball Busters are at the other end of the standings.

Break Time Otters at Moose Lodge 1

MOOSE LODGE 1 WINS 11 - 4

Otters are no match for big Moose. Gerardo Guerrero and Jimmy White were both 3-for-3 and powered Moose Lodge to an 11-4 victory. Two-game winner Jeff Azevedo helped the Otters keep the match close thru four games, but the Moose won the next four games and cruised from there. 2nd place Moose Lodge 1 improved to 2-0. The Otters fell to 0-2.

Don Q's Sharks at Sportsman Trojans

DON Q'S SHARKS WINS 8 - 7

Behind three-game winner Stephen Bluett, the Sharks won the first four games of the match but had to hold on during a furious Trojan charge before finally winning 8-7. Three wins by Jim Steele helped Sportsman make the match respectable. The 5th place Sharks are one of five teams at 2-0 in 'B' Division. 7th place Sportsman leads the four other winless teams in the division.

Moose Lodge 3 at Mel's Cartel

MEL'S CARTEL WINS 9 - 6

Cisco Arias and Sergio Garcia combined for six wins to help lift the Cartel to their first victory of the season. After trailing early 4-0, the Moose took 6 of the remaining 11 games but it was wasn't enough. All the Moose had at least one game win, and captain Juan Manzo was the only two-game winner.

Sportsman Nuggets at Monty's 2

SPORTSMAN NUGGETS WINS 10 - 5

The Nuggets improved to 2-0 with a 10-5 win at Monty's. Sportsman's Rachel Johnson had three more wins and is at the top of the 'B' Division standings at 6-0. Teammate Andy Reagan joined Rachel in the three-win circle. Monty's Greg Contreras had his first three-win night since last July. Monty's held an early 2-0 lead in this match but Sportsman took 6 of the next 7 and never looked back.

Break Time Slash n Burn at Break Time Travelers

BREAK TIME TRAVELERS WINS 10 - 5

. This week's inter-division match paired two Break Time teams against each other as the Travelers hosted Slash 'n Burn. Three-game winner John Campa helped the Travelers jump out to a 3-0 lead. Jon Hernandez had a table run in game 4, sparking his team to a three-game streak that tied the score at 3-3. The teams traded wins thru the end of the second frame, and one of those wins was a Hernandez break-and-run. The beer frame went all the Travelers way. Albert Covarrubias put a cherry on top of the Travelers win with his first table run of the season. The surprising Travelers are 2-0 and sit in 3rd place. 6th place Slash 'n Burn fell to 1-1.
