Players of the Week for July 1, 2014
Chris Smith (Cliff Room .08) & Brian Shillington (Don Q's 1)
Cap'n Chris had his first three win match since December 2011 to power Cliff Room to a big upset win at Don Q's.   On the next table over, Brian was busy destroying Sportsman's undefeated record.   Shillington had three wins and a table run to lead Don Q's 1 to a 9-6 victory over Sportsman 1.

Honorable Mention(s):
Phil Beach (Break Time 3)
Phil's three wins helped Break Time double up on visiting Uptown Lounge and keep Break Time's record unscathed.

Andres Cortez (Moose Lodge 2)
The division leaders were given all they could handle by their fellow Moose, but three wins by Andres enabled Moose Lodge 2 to emerge victorious.

J.P. Ramirez (Moose Lodge 3)
Juan Pablo went 3-for-3 in the big Moose victory.   Moose Lodge 3 now holds the top spot in the team standings and the top three spots in the individual standings.

Salvador Ibarra (Old Town Tavern)
Salvador's third win of the night came in the hill-hill game to give Old Town back-to-back victories for the first time since July 2012.

Casey Black / Cevin Doppman (Mel's Cartel)
Casey and Cevin combined for six wins to power the Cartel to their second straight victory.

J. Maertens / D. Deanda / P. Nelson / D. Risdon (Carp & Linden Pub)
The boys from Carpinteria were nearly perfect, winning 14-1 on the Mesa.   Paul Nelson's 8-game win streak currently leads the league.

Eric Romero / Calin Armenta (Moose Lodge 4)
Eric and Calin both went 3-for-3 to power the Moose to their first win of the season.

Steve Walker (Break Time 2)
Coming into this season, Steve was averaging one three-win week every 31 matches.   Including his three-win performance Tuesday at Old Town, Steve has 2 three-win weeks already this season and is in 6th place in the division.

Adriana Vega (Sportsman Nuggets)
Adriana's table run helped fuel the Nuggets' dramatic come-from-behind charge.   Down 7-2, Sportsman won five straight and was able to force a hill-hill game.   This was Adriana's first table run since the very first game of last Summer season.
