When Moose Lodge 3 found themselves trailing in the beer frame to the underdog Creekside Frogs they relied on their only three-game winner, Calin Armenta, to pull them through. Purrington's 35-point night powered Monty's to a 12-3 home victory and put him in a tie for his team's lead. Brian started the season 12-15 with no tables runs but has come on to win 25 of 36 games and record three runs. |

Honorable Mention(s): Jim Holloway / Brian Shillington / Ed Drayton (Don Q's 1) Jim, Brian, and Ed combined for nine game wins to help keep Don Q's 1 in 2nd place in 'A' Division. Leana Finley / Bob McLean / Jim Steele (Sportsman 1) The Hellcat, Magneto, and The Animal all hasd three-win nights to lift Sportsman 1 back into 2nd place in 'B' Division. Dave Deanda (Carp & Linden Pub 1) Moose Lodge 1 nearly pulled off the comeback of the year, but Dave's third win of the night rescued his team. Harry Peltz (Break Time 1) Harry had three wins and a break-and-run to power Break Time to a stunning 8-7 home win over Moose Lodge 2. Jack Poet / Peter Garcia / Ken Hilton (Break Time Bandits) Jack, Peter, and Ken combined for nine wins in the big Bandit victory at Old Town. Garcia and Hilton both had table runs as well. Rachel Johnson / Derrick Craig (Sportsman Nuggets) Rachel and Derrick both went 3-for-3 as the SpoNugs doubled up on Carp 2. Reno King (Don Q's Badgers) King Reno moved into the top 5 in 'A' Division with his 35-point night. Don Q's Slow Start Steve Moreno, Damian Rebman, Al Vafa, Jim Zambelli, and Jeremy Tessmer The Slow Start notched their second 15-0 match of the season, this time at Mels Lounge. Tessmer had his second straight two-table-run match, Little Al scored his twelfth run of the season, and Damian rolled in his league-leading eighth break-and-run. Brent Boone / Robert Rosa (Don Q's Dragons) Brent and Robert's six combined wins and three combined runs helped shut down the Uptown attack. Boone, the 'A' Division leader, had a table run and a break 'n run and is now tied for the league lead in runs with 13. Rosa opened his night with his fifth break-and-run of the season and his 40 points moved him to within 5 points of 2nd place Jim Holloway. Bob Pastor (Don Q's Fab 5) Bob had another three-win night and powered the Fab 5 to their fifth straight victory. Pastor has won 12 of his last 14 games and is now knocking at the door of the top-10 in the division. Ernesto Sanchez (Monty's 1) Sanchez joined teammate Purrington in Monty's three-win circle. Ernesto's cold spell appears to be over as he has recorded wins in 12 of his last 15 games. | ||
